Bren-Tronics is a small business that has been delivering portable power for the war fighter since 1973. Today we are the world leader in the design and production of Military rechargeable batteries, chargers and power systems. With our Head Quarters located in Commack, New York, Bren-Tronics makes everything we ship worldwide in our 70,000 square foot facility in the heart of Long Island. With a team of over 40 Design, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers if one of our current solutions does not meet your requirements, we can design and build a custom solution.
Bren-Tronics continues to lead the way with innovative solutions such as the BB-2590. This battery has been a standard bearer for the Military since 2004 but Bren-Tronics has continued to improve the design and update the electronics so today we have multiple BB-2590s optimized for particular application, be it for high or low temperature, high capacity or increase power.
In 2016 Bren-Tronics introduced the first 24V Li-Ion 6T battery for use in Tactical Military Vehicle. In 2019 Bren-Tronics delivered a fully MIL-PRF-32565B compliant 6T battery. One of these batteries can replace at least two of the current 12V lead acid batteries and has the power to replace 3 or 4 of the lead batteries. The weight and cube savings will be a game changer on how vehicle power is delivered.
Bren-Tronics makes a full line of portable charging systems to support our entire line of re-chargeable batteries. The war fighter can carry a foldable Flex Charger in their Ruck Sack that can charge their mission critical batteries pulling power from vehicles, APU’s or solar panels. Our latest addition to the charger family is our revolutionary Advanced Battery Charger. The ABC Charger can charge multiple batteries simultaneously in a fraction of the time other charges operate.
Power specialists for Special Forces operations have been able to lighten their load with better batteries, advanced portable tactical charging systems and power from Bren-Tronics Fuel Cells.
Forward operating base power including Bren-Tronics 60 KW / 30 kWh systems help save fuel by taking generators offline.
